Description

WORD BLOCKS by Two&2: An English game to learn in a simple way all the verb tenses, with 6 or more types of games.

GAME 1: If we want to make an affirmative sentence, the teacher says a pronoun in Spanish and the students take the piece they think is the correct and place it on the table, the teacher continues with a verb, the students take the one they think is the correct. Then check them and add the pieces that are correct.

GAME 2: The teacher says a sentence in English and the students try to translate it orally or in writing. Ten sentences are dictated and then corrected. Valid to score the progress of students.

GAME 3: Students are divided into groups to enhance collaborative work, one WORD BLOCKS by Two&2 game per group. Each group decides a spokesperson. Follow the instructions in GAMES 1 and 2. The teacher says a sentence in Spanish and the students try to do it. Now, the winning group is the one that says a sentence to the other groups, having to do it correctly, in order to maintain the points earned in the previous sentence. Points per sentence are earned with the sum of the pieces used correctly, not words, the longer the sentence, the more advantage in points is obtained. The fastest spokesperson to raise the hand is the first to play, in case of error a point is deducted.

GAME 4: Pieces are distributed to players. Several WORD BLOCKS packs can be joined to have more pieces per player. They leave the amount the teacher decides upside down to steal. With the pieces that each player has taken, they try to make the greatest number of sentences. Each player’s pieces are added. You can play different versions of the game by introducing nouns, adjectives decided by each player or the teacher in order to have more chances of making sentences. Blank pieces can be used.

GAME 5: All pieces are distributed among all players. You can also add more WORD BLOCKS. The teacher dictates a sentence and in turns the players put all the pieces they have to make that sentence. When the sentence is finished, another sentence is said. The first player who runs out of pieces, wins.

GAME 6: With the pieces arranged as in the previous games, the teacher says a sentence and the students write it without handling the pieces, just looking at them. It is assumed that the skill with verbs at this point has to be greater and only with that eye contact the student is already prepared to write the sentence perfectly.

After GAME 6, the student has a visualization of the pieces and therefore, a good command in the use of verb tenses, in order to obtain the best results, both in written and oral tests.
